The insured may and should report any claims as provided on their policy if the carrier has chosen to include instructions. We recommend in those instances that the insured also report any claims to your office for your records and your office to us for our records.

Otherwise; for commercial lines, simply complete the appropriate ACORD loss notice and forward with any supporting documents to our office. We would then forward the notice to the correct carrier or adjusting firm. We would also let your firm know that we received the claim and to whom it has been assigned or forwarded to.

Please be sure to have your insured contact your office with any questions concerning any claim. Then you may forward any requests, questions or documents to this office for processing. We will be sure to respond to your requests by obtaining status reports, etc. from the appropriate sources and reporting back to you in a timely fashion.

For Personal Lines, contact the underwriter you dealt with when you wrote the policy!
